Installing DT Max updates and patches

DT Max comes with a sophisticated install program which will enable your system supervisor to install it quickly and efficiently. DT Max will remember what location you chose when you last installed the program or an update, and will prompt you to select the same location when you need to install again.

To install a DT Max patch or update, download the appropriate file from the DT Tax and Accounting Web site or use the CD-ROM that you received. Ensure that nobody is using DT Max at the time. It is also important to make sure that you are installing in the same folder as selected for your previous installation of DT Max.

• If using the CD, insert it into the proper drive and let the automatic install program take over.

• If using a downloaded file, go to the location where you saved it and double-click its filename.

Then, restart DT Max.
